Good Samaritan Pharmacy and Health Services is primarily a volunteer organization with only two part time employees and approximately fifty volunteers.  Our volunteers include medical professionals such as physicians, nurses and pharmacists.  These medicals professionals are supported by a staff that provide clerical help, as well as advocacy services to patients.However, without financial support, these free services would not be possible.  Since GSPHS receives no governmental funding, we are completely dependent of grants from several local area foundations, individual donations and fund raising events.  

Currently, GSPHS also has access to matching funds that further increase the impact of individual donations.  Since GSPHS is primarily a volunteer organization, we can leverage our funds so as to provide approximately $30 worth of medical care for every $1 in expense incurred.  Therefore any financial support received , no matter the size, can result in meaningful medical services to patients and is greatly appreciated.
