Show Us Your Heart
At Good Sam Health Services, giving is not just about making a donation, it’s about making a difference.
Did you know that one out of seven people in Sarasota County don’t have health insurance and can’t afford to pay for routine doctors’ visits and medications they need to stay healthy. But, you can help.
Benefits of Giving
Here are just a few examples of the impact your donation makes
$50 pays for a six month supply of Albuterol rescue inhaler ($750 value to patient.)
- $120 pays for a one year supply of test strips for a diabetic patient ($275 value to patient.)
- $250 pays to sponsor one patient for one year.
- $400 pays to sponsor a medical clinic for one evening ($2400 value to patients.)
Your Donation
helps provide life saving medications and medical services to uninsured financially needy members of our community.
Be a Healing Heart
Healing Hearts are GSHS recurrent donors, who help provide consistent support that provides medical care and medications to those who may otherwise go without. Your ongoing contribution helps fund free medications and our free Wednesday clinic for uninsured people in Sarasota County. Please check the “Make this donation monthly” box and your donation will be matched by The Louis & Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust.

Compassionate Companions
GSHS Community Partners recognizes the generosity and impact of individuals and families who are sustaining donors to Good Sam Health Services, and includes supporters who contribute or raise a minimum of $500 annually. Individual donations as well as funds raised on behalf of GSHS through events like golf tournaments, and Culver’s share Nights all count toward Compassionate Companion membership! For those who wish to contribute monthly, just $42 per month qualifies you as a Compassionate Companion!
Grant Sponsors
We are very greatful to our grant sponsors. Because of their support, we can assure our patients that the medication and medical services they need will be available for them.

We must acknowledge and thank the many Pharmaceutical manufacturers that sponsor patient assistance programs (PAPs) that provide FREE medications to our patients. Without these programs, the most vulnerable people in our community would not have access to the expensive medications they need.
