Who Are We?
We are a non-denominational, not-for-profit organization that provides free access to physician services, diagnostic testing, prescriptions and over-the-counter medications to uninsured, financially needy members of our community.
GSPHS opened in January of 2008 to dispense free prescription medication to eligible residents in need from our on-site pharmacy. Our volunteers assist residents in applying for free, long-term assistance for their brand-name medications through manufacturer patient assistance programs. GSPHS also has a free walk-in Medical Clinic. To qualify patients should have a valid ID, be uninsured and have income of no more than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level:
Please note that GSPHS dos NOT dispense any narcotic or controlled substances.
When he came back the following week, the drug had arrived and he started taking the medication. Three months later, his liver was clear of any infection. He was cured.
“They saved my life,” Richard said.
"It was hard to talk about what I was going through".
April has been back to our office several times since her initial visit and you can see in her face a sense of relief knowing she will be able to get the medications she so desperately needs.
Jeff had no insurance coverage.
He needed several medications: Plavix, Coreg, Vasotec, Lipitor and Nitrostat.
Good Samaritan Pharmacy and Health Services was able to get all of these for him for at no cost.
